Why don’t people open my emails?

Many businesses wonder why their email open rate is so low when they have thousands of subscribers. It is a big problem because if you’re spending a lot of time making beautiful emails that are designed to persuade new and existing customers to buy from you, you will be missing out on a large audience if the open rate is only at around 5 to 10 percent. The main reason for this issue is generally the quality of your subscriber list. If your list has been solely created using contacts who expressed an interest in your products or services at some time, you should expect a higher open rate, however, if you have contacted people who have never heard of you, they will likely skim past your email or delete it without opening it and reading the content. A bigger email list doesn’t necessarily mean that you will reach more people; you will need to ensure your list is packed with people who are genuinely interested in your products or services.
