Well, The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 is a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA).
It is designed to bring more transparency to people about the data organisations collect from them, and what those organisations use it for, as well as helping people prevent unnecessary data collection, which is a huge issue in the world right now.
